I really hope we pile the misery on for this lot. I’ll be fuming if we go back to the Chelsea game.

Flawless title. Such a professional Rustin!
3-0. Smash the fuckers. Although they are the only London club I have respect for. Genuinely got the blood pumping in days gone by. Fergie and Wenger going at it. Bloody good times.

Had a browse through one of their forums and the consensus is they’re in for a hiding.
0-0 it is, then!
A few of the comments about our number of penalties rang true and the response “Yeah, but they actually get in the box” got me thinking. Is it our counter attacking style and the speed of our forwards that sways the stats in our favour? (I haven’t analyzed them, just makes sense that if the defenders are frequently caught on the back foot they are more likely to foul and the same goes for dealing with Rash and co’s fleet footing).

These are the kinds of games we need to start winning. If the expectation is to win the game, then you have to play with intensity and try to dominate in midfield.
Arsenal are a decent side on the counter attack and im pretty sure they will setup to isolate the likes of Lindelof or Maguire. I think Axel has to play because hes tailor made for those kinds of scenarios. As always team selection is key and i expect the team that finished the game on Wednesday will start this game. Well i hope so 😁

I can see Ole going with the same diamond formation as against Leipzig. Bruno up top, Fred shielding the back 4 and then Pogba + McT to round it out. Might as well utilize the one area where we clearly have some solid depth.

FAO Thread Title Congratulators: The ‘vs Arsenal’ and (h) are redundant. Surely ‘vs Arsenal’ signifies a home fixture and ‘at Arsenal’ signifies an away fixture making the (h) or (a) designation redundant.
That being said; DdG with a pen save. Shaw with two beautifully curled strikes. 8-2.

I hope Ole doesnt go back to starting James and Pogba doesnt go back to being pogshit.
Also league games are going to be more physical , So Axel over Lindelof.

By the way- Dave got an awful lot of flak, deservedly, at the end of last season. But he’s been pretty much excellent so far this campaign.
