FAO Thread Title Congratulators: The ‘vs Arsenal’ and (h) are redundant. Surely ‘vs Arsenal’ signifies a home fixture and ‘at Arsenal’ signifies an away fixture making the (h) or (a) designation redundant. That being said; DdG with a pen save. Shaw with two beautifully curled strikes. 8-2. All games are listed as "vs". And should be. "at" is a complete Americanism and we have enough Yank crap in football as it is.

Had a browse through one of their forums and the consensus is they’re in for a hiding. 0-0 it is, then! A few of the comments about our number of penalties rang true and the response “Yeah, but they actually get in the box” got me thinking. Is it our counter attacking style and the speed of our forwards that sways the stats in our favour? (I haven’t analyzed them, just makes sense that if the defenders are frequently caught on the back foot they are more likely to foul and the same goes for dealing with Rash and co’s fleet footing). I was giving off at BT the other night when they (Martin fucking Keown) kept talking about how many penalties we get without conceding as many. He was whinging about how we went for ages without conceding a penalty at home. Never mind that was fifteen plus years ago, when you are mostly attacking i. e. In the other teams' box you are patently obviously going to get more penalties than you concede.

Then differentiate home/away fixtures by listing the home team first, unlike American sport which lists the home team second. The (h) and (a) are still redundant.

Great see Axel’s brilliant performance being rewarded again. Ole will be extremely stubborn on the centre backs I feel. Nothing short of injury will get Axel starting regularly. That aside, good lineup.

I’m interested to see how this XI works out. It’s got enough legs if Pogba feels like being a United player today.

Feels like both teams could crumble if they concede first. We could be looking at two timid teams like the Chelsea game again.
