I only saw the highlights so don’t have a great impression of the game... So two questions: how much of the rubbish first half was down to Donny and do we now give Ole a pat on the back for his in-game management? I dont think that rubbish first half was down to Donny , almost everyone was shit (pogba and martial being the main culprits imo) , if anything he was one of the better ones

Good win in the end, but another game where a good passage of play gets us out of the shit and papers over the longer passage of play where we were diabolical and could/should have been 2/3/4 goals down again. This isn’t maintainable and unless something changes, we will soon be on the end of another pasting like we were against Spurs. Couldnt agree more, yes we are 4th and look well placed before the xmas period but for an hour we were complete shit and very fortunate. They should sedate and store bruno in a cupboard after each game because without him we are going nowhere. Im going to speculate here and say he's really the leader at this club on and off the pitch. I dont see alot coming from the bench. In typical fashion the press quickly jumped on Pogbas goal including Evra, instead of putting the pressure on Pogba to get better, they continue to make excuses for him. He scored the goal from the same position he played all game, so this argument about him playing in his preferred position is BS. Now if he does that every game then great but no one does, the other facets of his game are the problem.

I'm at that point where I was with Moyes. Enjoy wins especially like that one but it's just dragging out the inevitable. But I did really enjoy that second half

The way he bent it between Moyes and the stands was fantastic. That VAR check, and the moment of "fuck, we need a couple more cameras there" was priceless.

It’s to be hoped that Pogba finally steps up now his ankle problem appears to be over-no pun intended, but we all know that he has his own agenda and won’t. Bruno can’t, and shouldn’t in play every game ,dragging the team out of every hole they themselves put themselves in. God only knows where we’d be if it wasn’t for him. Certainly not top four.

One of those days where I had scheduled time for this and then things got away from me, but I’m going to assume if I pour myself a bottle of red, rewatch the match and read through this thread that I’ll thoroughly enjoy myself. Like so many performances before; rubbish until Fergie got the hairdryer out or made changes and we’d come out in the second half and get the job done. The major difference is that I’d have to go on social media or listen to 606, or have somebody post RAWK screenshots to get my ABU bitterness fix, now all I have to do is log on here.

Without Bruno yesterday it's another defeat And who brought him on? I get that people don't think he's good enough but that first half display was on the players more than it was on Ole. Whether he picks the side or not they are professional footballers, you shouldn't need a coach to teach you the basics. They couldn't even get those right. Like he did against Southampton, he made changes and it impacted the game. Still dont think he's as bad as some make him out to be. Some of these players get free rides with Ole copping the shit for sub par performances. Edit - also without Rashford and Mata on we might have lost it...guess who brought those on to change the game aswell 🤔

I dont think that rubbish first half was down to Donny , almost everyone was shit (pogba and martial being the main culprits imo) , if anything he was one of the better ones I watched MOTD in UK this morning having watched most of it live last night, first half awful, as we know, when I started to watch the second half it was fairly similar to the first, until the subs. MOTD were full of praise for Pogba ,who had most touches in the game apparently. Pogba played okay in the second half-lovely goal-but I always feel that he’s not giving anywhere near the 100% he should be giving ,returning from injury or no. Bruno, he definitely ain’t, in terms of attitude and commitment , and that’s not a Gallic thing either,Eric,Henry,Vierra etc gave it every game when they played.

He won't though. He'll have one ot two decent games maybe then go back to not giving a shit. Sooner he fucks off the better for all concerned. We proved once again yesterday with Bruno he isnt needed or for some even wanted at the club. If he wants to leave then on he can fuck.
