Why do people hate Maguire I thought he was OK tonight, I just don't get it. Wan basaka at fault first goal. He can't handle not playing in back 4 DDG at fault for the third. Ole at fault for not changing the formation quick enough. Just don't think tactically he's up to it Thought vidic was poor , why bring back shaw for such an important game. He can't be match fit I think a battering by City and he's on his way , Project Ole over for me The only thing I would say in Maguire defence is that he`s often on his own because Lindelof is rooted to the spot in freeze mode...not much of a defence though. |

Didn't see it but heard it was a shambles tonight. Needs to be gone. One half step forward and 2 back. His managerial reign is tainting his legendary status at the club. When he's talked about people will say great player, shit manager. I don't think he's a shit manager. He's just not a very good one. Our rivals have Klopp and Pep, hell even Everton have Ancellotti. To challenge the best we need to match the best, and we're simply not doing it, at all. We have another Mark Hughes, or Steve Bruce, as manager. Decent mangers who can do a job at places. Get Blackburn and Newcastle mid table, that kind of thing. That's Ole. Our rivals are in Bentleys and we have a 10 year old BMW 3 series. Which wouldn't be so bad if he was a youth team being given opportunities. He'd get supported, and people would say to give him a chance. But he's the most expensive defender in the history of world football. He cost 80M pounds. And he is the captain of this club. All of which means you can't be not very good at football. You have to be amazing at football if those three things apply to you. And he's not amazing. He's crap. |

Does everyone not remember just how shit we were defence wise before he arrived. Every game we were all over the place the ball was like a hot potato. I just don't see him as being the problem. Ole’s comments as poor as his coaching and management. I actually want him sacked and for me that’s the worst as I don’t advocate for people losing their jobs.
The way we started in the group he should have made it abundantly clear that we must beat Istanbul home and away thus 12 points and qualification.
