My dog died today, spent half time and the first 15 minutes of the half curating the best pictures I have of her. Had the game on but didn't glance up once - gather I missed absolutely sod all? Awh. So sorry bud. My girlfriend got a dog a few months ago and I adore the thing. Had a real scare yesterday when the pup went sprinting off leash down a dark beach alongside Belfast Lough. Can't imagine how painful it will be for you right now. |

I know there's off field reasons and maybe a touch of 2nd season syndrome, so not having a go at the kid, but I'd get Greenwood out the team for a while. He's shot, the magic he had last season looks gone. Let him sit a few weeks out and try to get himself right, maybe drop into the U23's for a game or two.
Maybe it'll be a bigger blow to his confidence, but he just looks like he needs taking out the firing line at the moment.

Can't imagine how painful it will be for you right now. Thanks mate. Yeah it's tough. She was fine until Christmas Eve when her eye started looking weird and cloudy. She went to the vet on Boxing Day and they found an ulcer on the back of it. Went for surgery today, turned out she had a massive brain tumor. Thankfully she was in no pain. We don't know how old she was as she was a rescue but we think probably around 9/10. |
