That was nervy. Jeez. Villa are some team. Again, should have finished it off and got a 3rd. Defending was OK today but AWB was ridiculous for the Villa goal. Made up for it with the clearance from that Cross which would have been a certain goal.
No doubt about the penalty. Blatant.
Level on points at the top on new years day. Would have thought it?

Think we played better today than the 6-2 win vs. Leeds. Few complaints, bar AWB's moment of madness and some suspect finishing at times. Could do with creating a couple more chances in other games but honestly Villa were very well drilled at the back, and quite dangerous going forward too. Keep playing like that and they'll genuinely challenge for the CL spots.
