If Diallo is put straight into the first team I send James out on loan. The lad has ability but is really struggling. Think if he does want to do well here he needs to adapt his game because we're not going to adapt ours to suit him.
Genuinely beleive with a bit of development he can be a decent squad player. He'll never be a world beater but a handy player to have in the squad. If he carries on the same way for much longer he'll have to be looking elsewhere.

Waiting for this to be mentioned. It has nothing to do with his nationality. People are saying Maguire is shit and I'm defending him the same way. Atm James isn't good enough. Just feel being at the club 18 months I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt for now. My patience with him is starting wear thin aswell, send him out on loan for 6 months, see how he gets on after that. If then he's still not good enough or hasn't adapted enough then get rid. But no it has absolutely nothing to do with him being Welsh, whether people beleive it or not is up to them. |

We have no real replacement for Fernandes. Donny has had a solid night but he's not Bruno, he's neat and tidy but not a gamechanging number 10, not from what I've seen from him so far anyway, which is obviously not that much. Also playing with Lingard and James in attack, two players most would agree are Championship level at best. |

Maguire may not be a top drawer defender but he is premier league standard (all be it mid table) james is championship level and always will be |

Every time Mata plays for us now it just sickens me how badly we have wasted his career/ability. People regularly, and understandably, bring up Kagawa. But honestly Mata was worse. At his peak he was one of the finest #10s this league has ever seen, which is one hell of a field. He was that good. Yep. I was so excited when we signed him. I remember when city signed Silva and saying to the football lads I wasn't too bothered because I wanted us to sign Juan Manuel Mata.  I could just cry at how horrifically we have made his career just peter out. |
