I think you're being deliberately thick so I'll give this a pass. When you have nothing intelligent to add, sling an insult out there. I assume this isn't also going to be allowed to become a thing on ROM,aye Stew? No, it's not so move on, both of you.

He is young and developing and I really hope that he comes good...but right now he isn't up to the standard we require for a regular starter if we want to play with the big boys... Again, I like the lad and I hope he proves me wrong...

In 1999 average squad player Jesper Blomqvist played 38 times. Pretty much a regular. Was he a great player? In 2008 average squad player John O'Shea also played 38 times. That's more than Hargreaves and Scholes did, and only 5 games fewer than Rooney. Pretty much a regular. Was he a great player? You're right that McTominay isn't a superstar and isn't the next Robson/Keane/Scholes. But lots of steady and decent players have played big roles in teams successes, not just United. McTominay is at least on the same level that Jordan Henderson was at his age, and look at what he's done the last few years. Jon Obi Mikel was shite but played a big role in a lot of Chelsea's success. Arsenal went unbeaten with Ray Parlour playing week in week out. Should we go and sign some big name for loads of money and sell McTominay? I hear Juventus have a good French midfielder, Pogba I think? Maybe go and sign him for a world record amount, that's bound to massively improve the team. Blomquist was a very decent player,no comparison to McT. O'Shea played a lot of games mainly condensed through a 6 year period, where he never nailed down a regular spot, but played in pretty much every spot across the back 4 & midfield,he was a more versatile version of Phil Neville& not one reliant on one spot like McT ,the season you refer to we also won the champs league & got the 1/4 of the cup,we played at least 6 more games in the champs league than we did this season. Hargreaves appearances where fairly limited at the club due to injury & fergie not liking lad,so another poor example. Scott had scored more United goals after about 10mins against Leeds than Jesper did at United. He was hardly a prolific creative force either. Don’t dress him up as levels above McTominay. Also Hargreaves not playing more had nowt to do with Fergie not liking him. When he was fit in his only proper full season, he played. Suppose City didn’t like him either and that’s why he only played one league game for them?

I also highlighted Hargreaves injury record hence, it was poor example for you to use in the first place. We disagree but I'm going to resort to insulting you over a difference of opinion, unlike some.
