Those two points didn't lose us the league ffs. Nothing was decided tonight and they probably were favourites all along, they didn't become after today's game. We aren't even halfway through the season. It’s what the bookies are saying at this moment in time of course it’s not over, calm down. I am very calm but how is what the bookies are saying relevant in any way, shape or form?

Coming away from the reigning champion's place with the feeling that we should of won has to be a sign of improvement, surely?

Feel like we paid them too much respect, with the defence they had out we should have gotten at them more.
Not a bad result, but they were there for the taking in my opinion, especially given how short on goals Liverpool are at the moment (in addition to an empty Anfield).
Still not absolutely convinced we're title contenders just yet, but let's see where we're at with 10 games to go!
Two very winnable games up next, onwards and upwards.

Well it’s done now gotta move on. Ole pls apply wisdom, rest Bruno and rashford for the Fulham game completely. Dvb should play, mata should play, would probably play matic
I’d probably play: Henderson Tuanzebe Bailly Maguire telles Matic dvb James mata martial Cavani
Temptations are diallo over James, I don’t want to see Greenwood anywhere other than no.9 anymore, this has been a slow season for him and I don’t see playing him out of position as helping that. There is enough in that team with their heads right to put Fulham away

Removing those nostalgia tinted specs,we all saw yesterday why he loses semi finals,we we’ve not beaten any of our so called rivals this season & even struggled to score against them. He is too scared to lose the game trying to win it. He is determined to play his favourites, even when they are badly out of form. His in game management is still really poor & he rarely makes changes to effect a game in a positive manner. Jordan Henderson could add another 5 years to his career playing at CB if they played one of his sides with that mentality every week. That is the most injury hit & out of form Vermin side in the last 4 or 5 seasons, there for taking,we hardly laid a glove on them. Apart from being far too negative ,we carried too many players out of form. We missed a real chance to hurt them badly yesterday & give ourselves a margin of error ,instead we got a bottle job. We won’t win a damn thing again this season.

Ole has to desperately address the lack of goals from our strikers if we are to do anything of note this season. Bruno's form in the last few games is a solid indicator of where we are going unless he addresses that problem. I'm not sure what's available in the market right now but he has to stop playing Martial for a start and drop players who don't perform.

No. Reason being we should have won not because we were so good, but because of how obviously weakened Liverpool were. Yet we failed to exploit it, failed to even try really.

I’m glad it’s not just me,beginning to think i am watching different football to everyone else. Yesterday was two crucial points dropped, that will end up costing us.

I love martial but he really is having a diabolical season, he has to step up to the plate or eat some bench time

Another thing, and it’s not just from yesterday- the nightmare of a prolonged period of Scouse dominance was a mirage. The injury to Van Djik was huge but that team is growing old, and worst of all it’s being allowed to grow old together. They have a decent scouting set up but no guarantee they’ll find another Salah.

In the end I was disappointed that we didn't come away with a win.
But we appear to a long way ahead of the team that got beaten there last season.
Most of the improvement appears to be because of the signing of Bruno. As it showed last night, when he isn't firing on all cylinders, we struggle.
We have Martial and Rashford out of form. I hope the Bruno thing is just a blip. Pogba has improved and so has Shaw.
Whatever it looks like, our position (as has been said) is more a reflection of the poor quality of the league than of a massive improvement in ourselves.
Mason has been played only occasionally and always out of position - his confidence looks shot.
Donny must wonder wtf he has done to Ole to not even get a sniff in important games. If we play a similar system to last night he should replace either Fred or McT.
I'd like to see Diallo get a go. It might seem a desperate measure but he might just give us the X-factor we need to push on.
We need some better players in the centre of defence and we could do with another creative player. Mason could be the striker we need but he is still young and will be inconsistent. Cavani should be used more.
All in all, we are not imo a title challenging team. But we could be sooner than we think.

Rashford at least works hard (despite some unfounded criticism on here) and is capable of a moment like the cross against Burnley.
