There was so much more purpose in our performance today than last week. It's both incredibly pleasing and frustrating. That Liverpool side are there for the taking at the moment. Delighted that we went and took advantage. Hopefully they turn up and can get a draw at city though

I just want to take a moment to appreciate Luke Shaw. I genuinely thought he was done at this club once Telles arrived. And he's played like a man possessed. Absolutely everywhere and so confident on the ball. Well done.

Fuck this is what I needed today. Of from 24 hour shift, terrible conditions in the hospital, looking forward to this game and what a fucking surprise. Can't be more happy honestly, we played well, got lots of possesion and was better for the most part of the game. But what a fucking glorious goal from BRUNO! FUCK YES! FUNKY ZEIT MIT BRUNO

Absolutely great win, which was in spite of our woeful CB’s and McT. BTW, anyone else hear that ABU Wright say that “no way was that a free kick” when Cavani was BRUTALLY fouled and led to the goal? Of course, he’d have stayed on his feet wouldn’t he?

Fair enough just my opinion honestly long term think he should get replaced if we ever got back to the level we used to be at I don't think Fred and McTominay have a future together, even in the short term. We need someone there who can pass well as well as get stuck in. Both should still be in the squad, but not starting together. One of them playing should be fine, though I agree that I'm not sure Fred is good enough to get in a team of the level of say 2008 - but we're so far off that, we can cross that bridge when we come to it, and swapping him out could easily be the final piece.

But TBF they're hardly out the race so a draw probably does suit us best.

People are mad. The McFred axis is critical at the moment.
