So it appears this summer’s big tease is going to be Haaland. Multiple papers are going with it this morning. I wonder what derisory bid Ed will put in to get the ball rolling? 40 mill? J Lingz and 15 with add-ons? I jus5 hope people aren’t too despondent when we end up with Danny Ings. If we are serious about Haaland why don't we do what a proper club does and actually buy him now? We won't we will fanny about and watch him go to city. |

There's no way Real will get both Mbappe and Haaland in one summer. They can't afford that.
They'll prioritise Mbappe. Meaning City will have a free run at Haaland. And unlike us with Sancho, they'll actually use it.
That also means that, even if we do suddenly realise how good Sancho would be for us, Dortmund probably won't sell as they'll have the Haaland money.
Yay.

It actually would be such brilliant bit of business by City to sign Haaland - securing one of the top 3 best talents in world football today, and at the same time shutting the door on Sancho for us. I can already imagine Ed’s briefs to the media and Ole’s insistence that we have a very capable group of people running the club.
