Not sure why Real would sell a world class defender in his prime and prioritize 35 year old Ramos for new contract. Sounds too good to be true. They sold Makelele and DiMaria because they weren’t sexy enough. They’re a very odd club. And bought Thomas Gravesen. Very, very, odd club. |

The thing is, we really are 2-3 top players away from having a go at the league. I think that’s what really gets me.. the illusion that we’re almost there, and yet, we can’t truly get there because our owners have zero interest in actually getting there.
Finishing 2-4 without shelling the needed funds makes a lot more sense to them business-wise than finishing 1st. Fuckers.
