I'm not going to praise Martial, one good game every 20 isn't good enough. Of course not. Mug.

Good win , shaw , henderson and maguire were excellent. And hopefully martial is getting back to form and can score a few in the remaining games. Even james was ok !

He did. Now why the fuck can't he do this consistently. Because he only has one tactic and it's pretty much (by coincidence) the perfect tactic to stop City. It is quite funny that "revolutionary genius" Pep Guardiola has absolutely no answer to Ole's relatively simple defend-well-and-counter-quickly tactic. We did very well today. Took our chances when we needed to and kept city at arm's length. Martial was superb - should have scored. Shaw was excellent as well. Both CBs actually weren't terrible. Henderson deserves a run as No. 1 for me. Get in!!

I was there for it. It was awesome. Absolute pin drop moment. The women’s match was after this. I’d never seen such a mass exodus for a piss/margarita/hot dog than this.

Got my beauty sleep and woke to a great result (well, 2 actually, counting the Liverpool one!) Happy Monday!

It's funny. In hindsight, 5 points out of 9 in a week when we've had 3 away games including Manchester City and Chelsea is pretty good!

I've mentioned it in previous threads, but Henderson throwing the ball out was key today for Shaw. Brilliant throw out. He looks very competent.

Get fucked you blue bastards!
Like I've been saying during this run they're on, we're the only side that has the bollocks to take them on. Everyone else just rolls over for these lot.

Yeah great result. Agree they kind of play into our hands a bit with their possession football. But credit to us for defending well and hitting them on the break.

City's 21 games in a row is simply brilliant, but while every other club is gassed, they have 1st 11 quality who sit on there bench every week. Silva, Fernandinho, Torres, Aguero, Mendy, Laporte, Foden sat on their bench today and the £40m CB they signed in the summer wasn't even in the squad. Bloody hell, we should be more than 11 points behind these pricks. Killed the game.

PS: I’ll be having no more AWB slander on this board. He’s bobbins going forward, but as an actual defender, he’s magnificent. The slander Fred gets is criminal aswell. His passing isn't brilliant but he never stops. He was brilliant in the middle today. Chasing everything down. I said during the match that if we want to be a top side we need upgrades on both him and mctommers. and I stand by that.
