The head of steam built up by the protests is gone, well done to the 10,000 happy Glazers customers! Why? You can go to games and support the team and protest the owners. This division between supporters doesn't help. Imo giving them money is exactly what doesn't help. Yesterday, sickeningly, seemed like business as usual if I'm honest. Supporters need to be united, by not giving the owners room to breathe. And the result yesterday says exactly that - they aren't worth the supporters money. Supporters should not be giving those leeches any money.

A lot of people decided not go anymore after the takeover and it didn't accomplish anything. I think these new methods that we're using are more effective and we should stick togethet, match-going supporters or not.

What would have been more effect was an empty stadium last night & 1/2 empty stadium in Gdansk next week.

Having said that, I saw one guy with a green and gold scarf carrying a bag from the United store. Oh dear.

What would have been more effect was an empty stadium last night & 1/2 empty stadium in Gdansk next week. Could we just not have this argument? It is effectively scientific fact by now that an empty stadium boycott is impossible. Too many tourists, corporates, and top red Glazer apologists. I completely understand the sentiment on this but would really prefer we skip the unavoidable (most often not deliberate) hostility?

Just wishful thinking I guess. I hope to God the online methods are denting the bastards.

Yeah, that's him. I mean, does he even know what the protests are about? More to the point Chris,he won't even care. Unfortunetly some folks just want to have good moan and no actual changes. For many they like to have a good moan in the kitchen but when they are offered platform to get some actual changes, they usually back down. Whether its protest in the street, writing an article in the papers, contact customer service or the company they work for etc, and we are basicly seeing that now with the glazerout protest. IF anything that sole post-ponement was far from enough, they should have caused far more post-ponements than single game. United fans were given serious platform to cause serious hacove but nope nada.
