In that case, it is a little pointless...we need something to get rid of the leeches...something that makes their ownership untenable... Anyone got a couple billion laying around? I think that's what it will take, cold, raw cash is what it's gonna take. Implementing laws that make the football clubs a less attractive investment might slow down the invasion and push current owners like the Glazers to look for buyers but reality is it's gonna cost alot of money. The biggest issue with the Glazers amongst other things is that there are more than one that own shares. If you were dealing with one person you probably get more sense, the reality is that they all have different agenda's and those that like the club are far outvoted by those that just see it as a business cash cow. With that being said money is the common language they share, just that some are more fluent in it The only alternative is to buy them out in my opinion but I do think a well organised supporter base can cause all kinds of havoc with Sponsors. Just look at this list of sponsors we have deals with. You can do all kinds of damage if you went after this lot with huge social media campaigns and encouraged a boycott of there products. Woodward said as much yesterday, the backlash from fans, stakeholders and partners had a huge say on the matter. I reckon a lot of external pressure came from sponsors, after all corporations like Adidas hate bad press, big companies drop celebrities who generate bad press all the time. The only way to rid ourselves of them, is to force them to cash in and that means threatening the the value of the assets they hold. If your going to these protests then you should be carrying banners and emblems that display these sponsors in clear sight. The Glaciers don't give a rats ass what you think of them, but those who keep the lights on definitely care. |

The only way is to not renew season tickets & membership,cancel MUTV subscriptions & stop buying merchandise. Great idea but it would need a huge percentage of fans to do it...and nobody stepping in to take their place... Which is why it won't happen. MUST think they have done their bit,SEF can't even take down their banners FFS,the excuse they want the team to know that the fans support them during this time. The Glazers will be still be here when the next ESL coup is launched. |

United and Liverpool fans in unison. The two grandest clubs in the world, with the largest tv audience largely embarrassed. |

That protest on Saturday is getting more traction online. Something else I’ve noticed is anytime the Bucs post anything they are swamped with #glazersout. That’s lovely to see.
You have to think of this as a guerilla war. It’s a series of small battles which chip away. That’s how we’ll win.
