Lost 3 of the first 6 league games after having no pre-season preparation... then lost only 1 in the next 27. Second highest in the league for goals scored. Only City and Chelsea conceded less. Sitting comfortably in second with 5 games to play.
Let's sack the manager for not winning a trophy in his second season and get an elite manager. Spurs are just through a similar experiment which means there's another elite manager available. NES the genius is also worth a shot. He just got thumped 4-0 at home by Burnley, so we might be able to nick him. Still mourning not getting Poch. He never won anything, but might make history in missing out on the farmers' league title with the most expensive squad ever assembled.

As an aside- has anyone ever maxed his incredibly limited ‘talents’ as well as May? Absolutely shite footballer, won everything in the game. Even worse pundit, has a cushy gig on MUTV. Unbelievable. He’s on the official podcast as well, where his gimmick is pretty much “I’m shite at this but I’ve played golf with everyone who has ever played for United”. Mind you, everyone else on planet Earth has a podcast now, so why not David May I guess. |
