Ole summed it up quite nicely: "We played one very, very good half at Old Trafford which has taken us through"
Quite worrying how many problems Roma caused us for the rest of the tie. Especially last night which was always going to be a bit nervy but we really should have done a better job at containing them and controlling the game.
Obviously nothing wrong with our attack to score eight goals over two games. But midfield and defence really need an upgrade this summer. You can see why McFred despite its limitations is Ole's go to midfield. Pogba really isn't suited to any role with defensive responsibilities and Fred is very lightweight without McT beside him. And Maguire really needs a top class centre back alongside him to make him look half good.
Next few games are going to be tough to watch. Problem with Ole's refusal to rotate is that when we are forced to rotate it really seems to disrupt the team. And of course players like Bailly and Donny have been relegated to fringe players this season so very difficult for them to come in and make a difference.

Shocking display from the defence last night the full back were changed because AWB was diving in like a nutcase and Shaw looked like he was on something? lazily trotting back out of position all the time, if that happens in the final we`ll get battered.
