Manchester United have lost two home games in the space of three days for the first time since April 1958.
United have conceded 27 home goals in the Premier League this season, their most in a single league campaign since 1969-70 (also 27).
A total of 33% of United's Premier League goals conceded this season have been from set piece situations (14/42, excluding penalties), the highest ratio in the division.
This was the second Premier League home game this season that United found themselves behind at half-time having opened the scoring (also v Spurs) - this had only happened once in the previous 28 Premier League campaigns (v Liverpool in 2008-09).

Shambles.
How the fuck are we even in second with this lot? We have one of the worst defences of a top 4 side I've seen in the PL era. We're held together by 5-6 good players who are being run into the ground, and, I can only assume, voodoo magic. It sure as shit isn't coaching, or management, or tactical nous that's helped us get this far. Good vibes and hoping really, really, really hard that we win isn't a tactical system. Fuck.

Disappointing loss but really in these circumstances can’t be surprised. The scheduling was shambolic. Its hard to find positives today but we’re in a cup final and can end off the season with a trophy while finishing 2nd. That is probably the best we’ll get from this squad and in line or better than some of our preseason predictions.

Because Chelsea and Spurs took too long to sack their managers, and Arsenal still haven't sacked theirs; also Liverpool had a heap of injuries caused by their relentless playing style. It really is as simply as that, if those clubs were sorted out, we'd be 6th or 7th. We have no hope of anything happening with Ole in charge, how anyone can defend him is totally beyond me. Even being seriously generous to Ole, there are at least 5 better managers in the league than him (Klopp, Pep, Rodgers, Ancelotti, Tuchel) and who knows who Spurs will appoint in the summer, so could be 6. That's almost a third of all managers in the league better than ours. Every man and his dog knew the game plan for tonight. Beat the press by not trying to fanny on with the ball, go long and cut out the midfield. Rashford has TAA on toast, play him on the left tonight. Greenwood and Cavani have carried the side for two months, both in great form and undroppable, between them they have scored 15 goals in the last 10 games, so absolute that both start. What does the fucking genuis in charge do? Does nothing against the press, plays Rashford on the right, drops Greenwood. He's a fucking clown, and it really pains me to say that.

Well lets see, Bailly should be out, to many chances only to disappoint. Ole should be sacked, he just isn’t good enough at this level, why pursue the rashford on the right to accommodate pogba? Play one or the other or better yet Fred is so poor you play pogba instead of him. Now Fred has to be sold, it’s gonna be a massive hit because we paid so much and he is worth so little
Just fed up now, season hurry up and end

A United with ambition for bigger & better things, would be signing 5 or 6 players & changing the manager this summer.

As Keane said if Ole thinks McFred in midfield are winning us the big pots then he needs to be sectioned. Still angry.

I’m trying to isolate how pissed off about yesterday I am when I write this, but Ole really is not of the adequate level to manage us. I know we won’t replace him until at the very least Christmas (assuming we are not close to a top 4 place around that time), but it’s depressing to see how poorly coached this team is.
When we do sack Ole, he will struggle to find another job in the PL.. and that in itself is a testament of how crazy it is he is our manager.

So the most we can get is 76 points, 4 less than Jose's boys.....progress? i don't even know how we're measuring progress, i don't think we can take anything from this season, it's been crazy, with fans back in stadiums and getting back to normality only then will we see where we are.
Despite where we are in the league, Liverpool and Chelsea are all still better than us, City are miles ahead and Leicester maybe we're on a par with, so at the moment i'm expecting nothing more than a scrap for top 4.
But if the club are serious about pushing on then we need 2 midfielders, 100% a centre half, right winger and a striker, 5 players all for the first team (sadly that's not going to happen)

The thought of another season of Ole is just so fucking depressing. He would not get the job of manager at any other club in the PL, yet here we are expecting him to be our saviour and compete with City.
Make it's all the more worse when you look at Chelsea and see how big of a difference it makes when replacing a novice coach with a high-level one.
We are well and truly fucked.
