We have a problem now, which he has to deal with. Pogba played a couple of decent games on the left but Rashford is a better player out there and his pace can turn any game. So does he drop one of mcFred and play Pogba centrally? Because if you look at that tonight, we went to complete shit once Scott went off. Yeah, or maybe just replace the McFred double pivot entirely, bring in Ndidi (or similar) and a proper right winger and rethink Ole’s tired formation? That would require some investment and some managerial skills though so it’s unlikely.

Meanwhile, ten men after 10 minutes city are winning away at Brighton. Although Brighton are giving it a good go in fairness.

9 wins out of 19 home games has got to be sort sort of record dating back to the 80s? Not even Moyes was that bad, was he?
Edit- yes he was. Worse.

I used to go Stockport county home and away when I was younger with my mates, one because it was cheap and two back then we just couldn't get tickets other then the odd few games at old Trafford, I watched Carlton Palmer be a manager, ole is going full Carlton Palmer, love the guy but he's an absolute dreadfull manager at this level.

And instantly improve our possession.

The only thing we can do with mcfred is replace those two players for 1 actually decent one ndidi, bissouma, ect, we would then be able to fit pogba in with Bruno and still play rash on the left

SO we're on another one of Ole's patented poor runs of form. I genuinely worry for us next Wednesday.

If he has any clue he will field an entire reserve side at the weekend. Some of our guys look completely wrecked (understandable in fairness) so the game against Wolves is irrelevant. Not one of our starters should be anywhere near the pitch this weekend. We can get the likes of Cavani, Bruno, Shaw, Rashford and AWB 2 or 3 days complete rest, which might just give them the freshness we so desperately need. Otherwise we are in for a very long 90 minutes chasing shadows next Wednesday.
