Dragging standards up with his own two hands: It just shows the state we are in, this is not really his job, yet he is taking it upon himself to drag up the bluffers. Sad state of affairs. Arnold needs to rip the script up now.

Dragging standards up with his own two hands: "Manchester United win the Champions League at the Gazprom Arena here in Saint Petersburg. It's an amazing achievement after such a whirlwind season... and Harry Maguire lifts the Champions league trophy!!" Yeah, it just doesn't sound believable! Then again, Jordan Henderson did it.....

They really are a bunch of useless shower of cunts.
He hasn't done this interview because he wanted to for the fun of it,he obviously felt he needed to because leading by example hadn't worked.
Shame them in public is the only option when you are a serial winner.
Pretty Shaw we will see a few leaked responses the appear fairly soon.

Piers Morgan @piersmorgan · 24m Just watched the full 20-minute interview. If United’s whole squad had Ronaldo’s mentality, they’d win everything. But they don’t - too many overpaid younger prima donnas strutting around like they’re football gods when their records aren’t fit to lace @cristiano’s boots.
Piers Morgan in truth shocker!!

Gael clichy was interviewed by GAB Marcotti and Julien Laurent and he said back in the day the youngsters were made to train in shorts in the cold and obviously had to clean the older ones boots. He said it built character, nowadays it would never happen, they finish training and they are straight on social media to see what people think of them.
It's really sad, I am not saying people should be abused or anything but some of the things he mentioned IMO deffo build character but also create a massive hunger to push on and succeed. When you have to put in work and graft for something we all know you cherish it more. Now everything is given to them and so so early, they just don't work. How many young players have fallen off a cliff by 21 simply because they got £100k contracts at 18? It's a darn shame.

I have a bad feeling Mason will be added to that list, considering he's surrounded by the likes of Martial and Rashford who have been utter fucking shite lately.

Yeah that's the real problem to be honest. You have a dressing room leader in Pogba who left the club because he felt he was not getting a chance, came back for big money and believes he is bigger than the club. You have a captain who has been woefully poor, shamefully poor and yet consistently come out spouting nonsense. You gotta get rid of people like that, toxic agents that speak consistently against the club, you gotta get rid. we have not acted like a big club, we have not acted like market leaders and teh end result is what we see in the papers and on the pitch. It would be poor of me to point fingers without facts but the best place is start by moving out those that don't want to be there, those that are out of contract in the summer and those that are not good enough. Mason is young, hungry and talented, he is our future I hope. H e looks like he just wants to play and improve year in year out. But he also looks a lad that wants to be a no.9, he has one thing on his mind when he gets the ball and that is to shoot, you can't have people like that playing on the wing where the primary role is to create

I don't want to go overboard considering his immense talent and young age (with many similar talents having gone through spells like this before going on to become greats), but Greenwood is starting to concern me a tad. Nowhere near as much as Rashford but I do wonder about his attitude.
