We've got a few. I have a bad feeling Mason will be added to that list, considering he's surrounded by the likes of Martial and Rashford who have been utter fucking shite lately. Yeah that's the real problem to be honest. You have a dressing room leader in Pogba who left the club because he felt he was not getting a chance, came back for big money and believes he is bigger than the club. You have a captain who has been woefully poor, shamefully poor and yet consistently come out spouting nonsense. You gotta get rid of people like that, toxic agents that speak consistently against the club, you gotta get rid. we have not acted like a big club, we have not acted like market leaders and teh end result is what we see in the papers and on the pitch. It would be poor of me to point fingers without facts but the best place is start by moving out those that don't want to be there, those that are out of contract in the summer and those that are not good enough. Mason is young, hungry and talented, he is our future I hope. H e looks like he just wants to play and improve year in year out. But he also looks a lad that wants to be a no.9, he has one thing on his mind when he gets the ball and that is to shoot, you can't have people like that playing on the wing where the primary role is to create Simply amazing that people think Ronaldo was talking about Pogba and Martial. |

Wasnt Rashford always going on about how Ronaldo is his role model and he wants to mould himself based on his drive and hard work. Now Ronaldo is here and he looks like a kid who found out Santa Claus isn’t real and he can’t even put in a performance or let alone effort.

I think Ronaldo probably has the same mentality, but was just being more realistic for this season. Knowing this lot, if they heard Ronaldo say "we should be top one" they'd say "ah well that won't happen this year so we might as well just phone it in until June" (though it feels like they already are). |

I think Ronaldo's comments about not wanting to compete for 6th or 7th probably more accurately reflect his assessment of the state of the squad. He must have been shocked by the bad attitudes, complacency, unwillingness to take criticism or instructions, or work hard to improve.
Ralf really needs to make him captain to show that he 100% agrees with Ronaldo's comments. It is disgraceful that Maguire has retained his captaincy. He is completely toxic. It is pathetic the way he thinks that a few decent performances for England make him immune from criticism. Surely if Ole deserved the sack for our start to the season then as captain Maguire should have lost that position as well?
Players like Martial and Pogba are convenient scapegoats. But they haven't featured much this season and in any case aren't part of the long term future of the club.
I am beginning to worry that Rashford and Greenwood are part of the problem. They were clearly overindulged by Ole and as a result feel incredibly entitled and cannot seem to accept that with Ronaldo's arrival they are no longer guaranteed starters.
