We won't spend anything in January. And the summer is going to be very challenging.
Not only do we need a midfielder to replace Pogba (and really two midfielders wouldn't go amiss as neither Scotty nor Fred should be starting every week).
But now we need a number 9 because of the Mason situation and Cavani and Ronaldo most likely both leaving in the summer. And on our shoestring budget we will struggle to get anyone anywhere near their quality. And without Ronaldo or Mason or Cavani's goals we will really struggle next season.
And of course the owners will only wake up to the problem after two consecutive finishes outside the top 4 and the associated deterioration of the club finances.
