Inspired by smithy2 taking his nephew for the first time - what was everyone's first United game? How much do you remember? Mine was actually the 2003 Community Shield. We won on pens, think Pires was the one who missed for them. My dad bought me one of the massive flags, it was bigger than I was. Only made it to OT several years later (2-0 vs. Blackburn in 2010), try to go up at least three times a year now.

November 1990, 2:0 at home to Sheff Utd. Was quite cool joining the “Vinnie Vinnie what’s the score” chants while standing at the Stretford End after years of dreaming of being there.

Away at QPR. 1996 I think it was. The one with the injury time Cantona headed equaliser.

77 or 78. Not sure as I was very young. I got separated as well. Had a policeman lead me back and we got dogs abuse. Covered in spit. I must have been 7 maybe 8. Could have been 1979. It was fucking terrifyingly awesome! United were for me. Fuck them cunts across town.

Think I've told this story on here before. My first game was vs Liverpool at home in the league in 2000. Patrick Berger scored an excellent free-kick for the Scouse before Ole equalised, finished 1-1.
Very memorable as the person who took me was my Scouse born and bred, Liverpool supporting Grandad and he had to sit there while all the United fans around us rubbed his bald head in celebration when we equalised.
Was a top bloke.

Sheff U was my first game. I think it was that one too. Happened that long ago I can’t remember the year. It was before the PL was born anyway.

Forest at home in 1996.
My dad brought me and my brother over on the ferry from Dublin. Sat right in the back row of the third tier in the Sir Alex stand.
Solskjaer, Giggs, and Cantona with 2 that day. Was the stuff of dreams and scarred me for life, in the most beautiful way.

Ipswich, 04 March 1995 ... was that the 9-0? It was indeed. Just wish I could remember more of the day, but was perhaps just a little too young.

Ipswich, 04 March 1995 ... I went to that one. My husbands mate turned down an extra ticket because well it was only Ipswich. Went to Barca away though where he ended up in a police cell and eventually got out in time to watch us get thumped 4-0. Still gets mocked for it now. 😂😂
