He's part of the fucking problem aswell. Fed up of these players coming out with this "we must do better" shite. If you must do better then fucking do better, do it don't say it. Ole has his faults but these players are top, international players and can't do basics. They need to shed the blame aswell. Every manager before them since Fergie its been the same. Hide behind the managers failing. This guy has been at the centre of two of them now. Hopefully he'll fuck off in the summer and we can finally sort the midfield out with a top DM, don't even care if he leaves for free anymore. I don’t buy it. Every manager he has worked with except Jose and Ole has gotten the best from him and won. It’s not on him. Won 2 trophies with Jose even though it went sour. |

The team has poor movement, it does not press the opposition when they have the ball, it creates little from open play and some players are not putting it all in. I can see Liverpool running riot against us as they did against Watford as defensively we are at their level.

No other top team has a player like him who is basically a passenger when we don’t have the ball. A lot of what Neville said in that Sky link is true. We have no balance. Teams cut through us like we aren’t there. We have lots of attacking talent but it makes no sense how we have constructed this team. The ins and outs in our midfield since Pogba got here make no sense. We should have been buying players who provide defensive cover. Instead we let Matic age without replacing him, let Ander go, and bought Bruno, who has obviously been great, but he has a lot of the same qualities as Pogba. |

why the fuck cant we defend Because our defensive standard bearer has four relegations to his name for a reason. I dont agree he is that bad , imo he is still the second best CB in our squad. But he is returning from injury without any sort of practice or match fitness , its on Ole who started him and continued for the entire 90 mins. |

Im not a fan of Shearer but he was right on MoTD we are a very static team and dont press, we give the opposition far too much space to look up and make a pass.
Maguire should not have played, a fit Maguire isn't fast but seeing him yesterday obviously not ready was embarrassing but Ole still didn't get him off the pitch.

Agree with this , we have number of players in there who dont contribute enough off the ball , which is why i dont have a problem with 2 defensive minded players in midfield. With Ronaldo , Pogba , Sancho in the starting line up , we need that defensive work to come from somewhere else. We are usually even worse without McFred as we saw yesterday yesterday. (regardless Fred is simply not good enough at this level and need to be replaced, but not sure if Donny is the answer). But all this again falls on the manager , why did he buy Donny ? why is he not firm on Pogba situation. By his time we should be launching a full on charge for the title not make excuses. |

He's probably right though. It will take a complete implosion before he's sacked. If we win one of the next two then he'll survive. I think the team are playing badly enough to get a proper hiding from Liverpool. |
