Should I put money on Carrick being in charge for the next 3 years? I'm honestly worried about this. Carrick getting a few good results could be the worst thing to happen. He gets the job, we miss out on better candidates, we end up in the same situation in a few years with yet more damage done to the clubs standing reputation. Just keep kicking the can down the road. They should have a replacement ready to go by now, there should be no need for an interim coach. Why wasn't phelan given the role? I don't understand Carrick getting it.

People are totally entitled to their opinions but if Bruno becomes a target on here because he tried to deflect the blame on to the players, it will be met with infinitely stauncher resistance than any Maguire defence.
And it will be led by me.

Unfortunately the board are so far removed from the football club, and the workings therein, as it is possible to be. The commercial aspect seems to be THE main strand of the business, with the playing side almost incidental, as long as the Glazer’s can continue to earn off the club they‘re more than happy. Donald Duck could be our manager,so as long as European Champions League football was guaranteed. This is now where we are. Fantastic.

As has been said many times by the NFL fans on here, the Glazers are absolutely dreadful owners for the Bucs too. They lucked into Brady, like they did with Fergie, and when he calls it a day they’ll return to the cellar where they have regularly resided.

The buccs are rubbish this season, so short term cameos are part and parcel of the Glaziers. What's the point getting into sports if your not in it for the glory? They'd make more money buying and selling stocks with there money

And it will be led by me. He's wrong to get upset at boos at this stage I feel - him and the other players will never understand what it's like to work so hard to be able to afford that trip and the tickets only to be met with that shite - but I respect him a lot for saying/trying it. Further proof he's captain material trying to stand up like that (though I'd have him as vice for Ronaldo probably).

Blind loyalty annoys me and Bruno must surely realize that Ole is a huge part of the problem and as manager has to accept accountability for our terrible results. Of course Ole was very happy to gloat about the 2nd place finish and boast about the progress being made and how we were so close to winning trophies even though that owed a large amount to the efforts of players like Bruno.

To be completely fair to Bruno, and most footballers, they start off in quite tough conditions themselves. He's reached this stage in his career because he has worked very hard, I can't fault him for that. Football is a ruthless business and those who make it constitute even less than 1% of the grand total of those who play the game in a professional capacity. He should have kept that in mind before he gestured the fans. It's great that he said it's the entire team's fault in the post match interview. Not so much that he's getting into it with fans on the pitch.

Roll on Tuesday, interested to see how we line up and the players picked. Fair to say I expect Sancho and Donny to start and dare I think it but Dalot might actually get a game
