Don’t get me wrong, he should have only got the time he was initially provided. December to May. But that win in Paris changed things. Most people, me included, thought that was the corner we needed to turn post Fergie. Alas, hindsight is 20/20 and he was caught short more than once, and his luck ran out. I still love Ole the legend, not so much Ole the manager. Possible but I thought at the time that the club should have just waited until then end of that season before deciding on the next manager(ole or someone else)but they stupidly gave him a 3 year contract on that extended new manager bounce and things went south soon after. They them made that same mistake last summer rather than just wait until January next year to see how the season panned out. on both occasions he was never going to be snapped up by any other club(never mind a rival)so there was no rush at all. Most held this opinion. At the end of the season we all knew he wasn't the right man. This club has been living in a Dreamland for 3 years.

Jesus
Leicester will probably use that 8 million to hire Ten Hag as his replacement.

Farewell interview Ole’s idea, wanted to say goodbye supposedly. Nice man but I won’t rewrite history, of all the managers the club has had since Fergie he has been afforded the most and with the summers activities he has the best squad since Sir Alex left. I wish him a good break and maybe the Norway job at some point, we move on hopefully to someone that will bring trophies back to us. Drop some passengers in January and get CDM x2 in the summer and we really should have no excuses! It wasn’t. I guess Andy Mitten needs to be corrected then

Poch seems like the early favourite. Which is the single most underwhelming appointment we could make. So, welcome Mauricio, I guess. Rodgers would be worse, in my opinion

I’m not willing to write off this season. If Ten Hag refuses to come here mid season and Poch will, I would do it. I don’t love Poch. We should have gotten Conte. But this is where we are.

Ole is gone but we still have this utterly hopeless hierarchy making major decisions and I just don’t trust them to get it right.
BBC sport saying Zidane isn’t interested and who can blame him.

They'll go for the one they have to pay the least amount of compensation for. It'll probably be Poch because he's most likely to be relieved of his duties at his current club before next season.

Here we are, 6 7 months ago it was certain Woodward wouldn’t outlast Ole, it was a small victory, now look.

Also, our owners are so American they gave him an exit interview, and on top of it all publicized it for clicks.

God they will miss his compliance. If you wanted to reach out to the fans a standard page in the local paper would get to the core fans better, a typical “I’m sorry, I did my best,” if you ask me. So be it, died on his sword.

I feel kind of same towards Rodgers and Poch , both are good managers who develop youth , plays good football but they will most likely fall short here.

Also it has been said so many times by everyone , but its amazing how a multi billion dollar club like United have a board who gets almost all the football decisions wrong consistently and still get to keep their job.
We dont appoint the right manager , wait too long before sacking the wrong ones , give unnecessary contract extension to players and managers who dont deserve it , miss out on transfer targets , overpay for shit players , lose good players for free. 8 long years and still as clueless as ever.

my first candidate is Ten Haag. If he doesn't fancy it midway through the season then Poch. he played some great football at Spurs. PSG are a circus so im not judging him on his time there as you could have questioned Tuchel based on his tenure in Paris.
according to some Rags Poch would fancy it now and ZZ would fancy the PSG job. win win for all parties.
