It would be foolish person to write CR7 off before an RR ball has been kicked,he'll be fine,he will adapt & do whatever is asked of him & do it damn well. If it were Messi rather than Ronaldo on our team, I'd have been a been a bit more concerned about how well he'd fit into a RR system. Ronaldo on the other hand is not afraid to run and close people down, as long as he knows it's part of a plan that's going to open up more scoring opportunities for him which is all he cares about. And winning. Ronaldo will do what it takes to win. |

i dont wanna be the party pooper and i am as excited as you all are. but lets not forget that when he takes over, he will basically have not a lot of time to implement his ideas in training, with games every 3 days. so i am trying to not get my expectations or rather, hopes too high up. however, what can and hopefully will happen from next summer onwards, is what excites me even more.

I really hope all this talk of players not being happy about hearing about the appointment via the media is rubbish!
I mean Ole hit his ceiling and some coaches might be poor but a lot of players downed tools and have absolutely no right to be consulted or briefed about who is coming in.
Their job is to take instruction, give their best and go and perform.
A proper coach is coming in, none of the players have anywhere to hide, turn up or pls get out.

The press are great at making shit up or speculating. Since when has Ronaldo ever been adverse to hard work? It's lazy journalism. Players want to play in a successful side and they will normally respond to high demands if it yields results and they see tangible improvements on and off the pitch. |
