It’ll be Zidane, because the people who run this business only like Hollywood. And it’ll the wrong choice. Again. I disagree. Anytime I watched Zidane’s teams they were well-drilled and not just a collection of stars. He’s a proper manager in every sense. Which is why we won’t get him.

Bring him in and ask Joel to wear a Materazzi mask. Be worth it just that outcome.

Sounds like they were planning to drag this out until the end of the season after all. 🤢🤢

The interim followed by an interim means Zidane is a non-runner.

3 Champions league Titles and 2 League Titles is an outstanding achievement no matter where or who you are coaching!! Real Madrid is a nightmare for 70% of coaches that go there and it's a circus>> Does that sound familiar
Guardiola 11 years since winning a CL title and he inherited a treble winning team at Bayern and was able to add Lewandowski etc. He hasn't won it at City in what 5 years
Zidane made big unpopular decisions with certain players and had players bought for him that didn't work Bale, Hazard etc. He would command instant respect from some big egos in our dressing room and attract key players in a short window. The context is key when you are looking for a coach and right now this is not a re-build. It's about restoring some calm and sorting out the heads of a good few players who are not playing for anyone except themselves!
You need a cool Carlo or a Zidane right now and only one is available

So Zidane who has won multiple trophies at Real Madrid would find this job too big but Andre Vilas Boas would do well. Got it. Get this...Zidane has only ever had fortunes to spend in a mostly 2 team league until recently when both Real and Barca have declined as their more recent CL results will confirm. Some say its a 3 team league but it shouldnt be.
Spanish football is different to the EPL too and as Zidane was not proven in other leagues as well as the Spanish one, he could prove to be an expensive failure. If you think differently we can and will have to simply agree to disagree. We have bigger problems than to discuss which manager is best as we can all see that the board have fudged to keep control of the purse strings at OT. What a dumb take. Zidane joined in Jan 2016. He oversaw only 2 full summers of transfer activity. Do you know how much he spent? 71 million Euros. Do you know how much they sold? 170 million Euros. From Jan 2016 to June 2018 he won 3 consecutive Champions League trophies and La Liga once. On an outlay of 70 million. The only time he spent money was in 2019, and then he promptly won the fucking league that year. AnDre viLAs BOas

If he does not want the job fair play and forget it. I took issue with that guy talking about his actual ability to coach and finding the job too big for him but not fucking Vilas Boas. Some nonsense has to be called out..

at first a feeling of relief and slight hope started kicking in after ole was sacked. and now the news of carrick as interim until we find an interim until the end of the season...fuck me dead, this season might get even worse than it already is...fuck this club. its clutching at straws but i hope it is because ten haag agreed to take over after the season with rangnick coming in as well, but who am i kidding.

Need to get this interim business done quickly and get an actual full time manager in, otherwise there's no CL, no Ronaldo and God knows what squad we're left with next summer

Firmly want Zidane as my first choice. on record with that.
But if he's really that reluctant, Ten Hag would be my second choice, I've been swayed by what he's doing at Ajax, and quite like the idea of him coming with Edwin VDS as a package.
Cooling on Rodgers by the passing week, but in all likelihood it will probably be Rodgers the board will choose.
just out of curiosity, WTF is Koeman doing up there as a choice?

I know i dont need to tell any of you lot this but what’s the point of having an interim who was a direct part of the last regimes failures. Let’s leave 1/4 of the tumor inside the patient. Brilliant.

By the way, if the first act of any manager be it an interim appointment, an interim-caretaker, an interim-caretaker-we-have-no-idea-what-we-are-doing, isn't to remove Maguire as captain they're a coward.
