Apologies if smeagol'd elsewhere, but only just seen this myself... He speaks so well about football. The thing that has struck me since he has formally arrived and been doing interviews is how banal and out of touch with non-English football the English punditry/journalism has been. We knew that anyway but it is just painful hearing them attempting to follow up a detailed answer about actual tactics or scrabbling around for a sound bite when the man they're interviewing is talking with substance. |

It is great really. He is taking every opportunity to hammer home what he wants from the players and he knows exactly how he wants us to play. None of this airy fairy shit about a "philosophy" or PE level coaching "Give it your best lads!" but a clear systematic approach to football that should be easy for the players to get the hang of and result in measurable improvements in our stats and eventually our results.
