Maguire was shit again tonight...both he and AWB terrify me when they have the ball at their feet...awful decision making and Maguire is just so slow and easy to beat...

Thought Scott was fabulous today just shows what he can do without covering Fred's shortcomings. Generally good first half performance second half took their foot off. Been a supporter of Harry but fuck me he makes it hard looks unfit and lacking in confidence. Got to admit he was crap today Absolutely nothing to do with either form or fitness. Stop deluding yourself. |

Got to say I like Ralf when he speaks don't really think he's right as a permenant manager but he's a good stop gap and hope he sorts the structure of the club and backroom staff out

A win is a win even if it was fully expected before the game, if their number 9 had made De Gea work early on from the free header which was well onside and the ref blew for a pen against Maguire things could have been different, but Burnley are poor and do not take many of the chances they create. Either our players are just not good enough or the players do not understand what Rangnick wants from them, meaning some of them are not too bright. I personally like Fred in the team and I would like to see him start without McTominay, who did well today but it was only Burnley so he had more freedom to express himself. It was very disappointing to concede a goal, given that the opposition are very poor and had only scored 6 goals away from home until they nicked another today.
Things can only get better, we need a huge clear out but our problem will be, Who wants these players and if they do can they afford their ridiculous salaries. I still think that Maguire is not as bad as he is made out to be either, ok he could have closed the Burnley attacker down today and prevented the shot but the player took it well to slot it past De Gea from a difficult angle. I was happy to see Rashford out of the side today as he has to prove he is worth a place in the squad never mind the team as he has been very poor for as long as I can remember. VDB must have asked to leave in January otherwise he would have been given a chance to shine. 3 points so onwards and upwards. |

I don't feel like that most of the time. But that said he has some glaring deficiencies |

Scott was better today because 1. Its Burnley and 2. We had a specialist CDM who could sit there while he got forward.
It's so glaringly obvious that we need a CDM instead of playing 2 players who do one job. We'd improve drastically. How it's took 3 years for the club to realise this is staggering.

But that said he has some glaring deficiencies not for Leicester he doesn’t. They managed to get a kings ransom for that Stoke city level clogger. both Jones and smalling are far better than Maguire(even now). |

I’d be astounded if we don’t get a proper cdm in this January and another in summer.
Both MCT and Fred prefer a box to box role.

Bit odd how well regarded AWB was in defense his first season and how terrible he is now. Honestly thought we stamped down our next RB and he could improve his shortcomings going forward. Can our next RB not be English, sick of paying 50m+ for players that need replacing.

Just got back from manchester. Made a point of watching slabhead and not the action. Fuck me when you watch him he has to be the most static non vocal player I've ever seen. He is slow and ponderous on the ball makes everyone around him nervous. Needs to fuck off.

Maguire has gone beyond shite now, worst CB we have ever signed and for an astronomical fee.
Some progress but that second half was abysmal against a crap outfit, not sure if Ralf can turn this round he could with a young team where he could mould them but this lot might be too much, so many players need moving out and replacing practically half a team on silly wages.
