Scott channeled 1985 era Bryan Robson, Bruno remembered how to play football the way he can, Rashford got his shooting boots back on, Ronaldo threw a bit of a strop because he was subbed, Fred was momentarily possessed by the ghost of Socrates (not the Greek one), Ralf thought Elanga was English, Maguire came on and De Gea's clean sheet went up in flames. |

Brentford's manager with a bit of a meltdown. You love to see it. Great isn't it. "They were so lucky!" Your players not being able to finish their dinner and De Gea playing really well isn't luck. I never get why a 'keeper playing a blinder is considered lucky. How is it different to Ronaldo have 3 shots and scoring 3 goals? Yet he'd be considered clinical. For years average opposition goalies have had some real worldies against us. About time we get some in return. |

I dont understand why people are pissed off at the substitution , we are leading 0-2 at 70 mins , nobody wants a repeat of what happened last game against villa , so he got an extra defender in there and a fast forward who will help with the counter attacking situation that will definitely come in the last stages when Brentford commit players forward searching for a goal. And it mostly worked.

And it mostly worked. me neither ole correctly got pelters for playing the same team for the whole match(usually 85 minutes)week in week out which resulted in players like rashford and Bruno getting burned out. Most say Ronnie needs his playing time managing and ralf did just that(I can see Ralfs point on the extra defender after villa to see the game out but maybe Jones instead of slab head). Rashford got a run out and scored which is just what he needed. |
