Weren't there similar stories a while back about the players being excited to have Ten Hag? I wouldn't put too much stock in these leaks. As for Poch v. Ten Hag, either could work. Poch knows the Premier League and is less of a risk of being a complete flop, in my opinion. Your opinion is wrong.

Experience of the league is not that relevant imo , good managers will evolve and adjust within few months. Klopp ,Pep , Conte, Mourinho (when he was the special one , not the current miserable one) ..none of them had PL experience when they came, didnt hold them back. Forget the PL and CL , that spurs side of Poch (agreed he built it) didnt win even a league cup is bit concerning.

I just want a Manager that gets this team consistently competitive again and winning. I'm tired of us looking like twats on and off the pitch. We have so many class players and it's Manchester Fucking United....not some team that got some injected invest from a Saudi or Russian. We've been the standard for 50+ years. As much as I hate the Scousers and Arsenal, they are the same.

There are some pretty significant distinctions between Ten Hag and the managers you cite.

Sign Enrique and he will win or completely out the owners and board. The interview will be so direct they will probably run a mile anyway

Pep, Klopp, and Conte all had far better CVs and experience in far better leagues than Ten Hag. Pep was arguably the best manager in the world when he came to England. Klopp had won the Bundesliga, German cup, and gone to the CL final. Conte had won a bunch in Italy. The only one arguably similar is Mourinho, who had won the CL and was, for lack of a better word, special. Of course, Ten Hag could work out -- maybe just well as the managers you named. But citing them as reason not to be worried about Ten Hag's lack of experience in England (or any top league) is a bit of a stretch.

Might take a few months but any good manager will adjust to the new league. Poch could be just be the perfect glazer appointment - no pressure on owners for transfers , no pressure on players to win big trophies , plays decent football and keep us in the top 4.

From BBC Football Gossip: ‘Leicester City have reduced their asking price for Youri Tielemans, 24, from £60m to £35m with Arsenal and Manchester United in the race to sign the Belgian midfielder this summer.’ The club should chop Leicester’s bloody hands off , but they won’t.

So basically you could now get Tielemans, the kid from Monaco and have change from what you’d pay for boyhood Chelsea supporter Rice. Should be fairly straightforward, no? I wonder what squad number at Utd young Declan will choose?

Burnley, Newcastle and Everton? Even those three would have to think more than once about the likes of McFred,Slab,AWB et al. McTominay walks into those 3 teams first XI and is their best player. I know the lad is limited, but come on, he's much better than a lot give him credit for.
