So four years of not winning anything then sack him and wonder why we didn't get ten Hag. Not for me. So Ten Hag is nailed on for success then? Any manager coming in could be doomed to failure unless the structure behind them is sorted out, neither of them are nailed on for success in my opinion, i'm simply saying Poch has built good sides at Southampton and Spurs and could repeat that with us and who knows, if he's backed properly could see some success. As mentioned, the Dutch league is farmers league 2.0 and yes Ten Hag has taken Ajax to the semi finals of champs league but Poch actually did get to the final although flapped it against very good Liverpool side. There's not alot in it between the 2, i'd take either. 🤷♂️ I have never seen ten Hag say trophies are only for ego. He doesn't guarantee success but Pochettino is a proven also-ran. My favourite is actually Mancini, although I was very disappointed in Italy when they came to play Northern Ireland last year.

I'm going to say it now, i think Poch will do a good job in building a side, a young side, that plays good attractive football, he knows the Premier and what its about. Whether he can take that extra step onward from what he did at Spurs and pick up trophies we don't know, there is no guarantee Ten Hag will either, lets face it the Dutch league is no better than the French league. Also, i would hope, that most of those players that do want Poch won't fucking be here by the time a new manager is appointed!! Bit unfair to compare Ajax with PSG. In the 4 season before he came PSV won the league 3 times and Feyenoord once. Since he came Ajax won it 2 times in 3 seasons (1 was abandoned due to covid with Ajax on top again). And sits on top this season too. And he did it all with his best players leaving for bigger clubs. There is no guarantee and things are made doubly difficult by the clowns who run United . But if we have to take a bet i would prefer Ten Hag over Poch.

Mancini is also a good shout and one we should definitely explore but doubt he'd want to come to us after his City days but who knows, he should defo be in the running. I think it will be Poch, purely on the basis he'll be free and they wanted him before

Mancini is a shout. I've always thought he'd do a job here, but the citeh links. Also, file next to Luis Enrique in not coming here before the World Cup.

The World Cup question gives me the excuse to correctly use the word ironic: Ronaldo knocking Mancini out of the World Cup could help us get the best manager possible.

Big fan of Ten Hag, but I've also been vocal about my support for Poch.
But if this lot want Poch in then he's an instant no for me. Ten Hag and a few bloody noses please from him and Ralf

Ten Hag and a few bloody noses please from him and Ralf It's a Shaw thing that this is a fairly reliable brief. Samuel Luckhurst @samuelluckhurst · 12h Pochettino wanted by a growing number of #mufc players to become next manager. Pochettino is still in touch with Luke Shaw and United still aiming to hire next manager before end of season

I like poch always have done, but it's typical of this club we could have had him 3 years ago before we gave ole a new deal, then we could of had him when ole should have been sacked and he was waiting for the job before he took the psg one, just such poor planning and vision, it's no wonder we are fucked.

Jacob Ramsey at Villa is one we should be keeping an eye on or even taking a gamble on, liked the look of him when they played us recently, good young player he would have been a cheaper alternative to Bellingham, but the way he is playing his cost will be massive. top drawer player! Strong, Technical, Quick, Powerful, great finisher & only 20!!

Weren't there similar stories a while back about the players being excited to have Ten Hag?
I wouldn't put too much stock in these leaks.
As for Poch v. Ten Hag, either could work. Poch knows the Premier League and is less of a risk of being a complete flop, in my opinion.
