That's now 7 clean sheets in 31 games this season by the way. 22.5% of games we keep a clean sheet. Bottom of the league Burnley have 6 clean sheets in 24 games. 25% of games they've kept a clean sheet. Better than United. At the top, City have 14 clean sheets in 33 games. 42% And we have a 20M 'keeper, 50M RB, 30M LB, 40M & 85M centre backs, and play with holding midfielders "protecting" the back 4. Fucking pathetic. Good grief that’s worse than I thought. And I thought it was really bad.

Gone from 2nd Half FC to 1st Half FC. Can't tell if it's a tactic to try and blow teams away first half and conserve energy, with Champions League coming up, or if this lot, bar one or two exemptions are chronically out of shape to play 90 minutes of football.

Shit results haven’t proper hurt me for years. Game finished, turned it off, went and ironed a shirt. Part of it is getting older and part of it is becoming disillusioned. The disillusionment is real. VAR, the super league and just in general the players being a bunch of cunts is a huge turn off. Even as a big England fan as a lot of you know I am i couldn’t care less about the World Cup. Go play in the desert for a bunch of cunts who killed thousands to host it… no thanks. I have been having this conversation with a few different people recently. One of the biggest issues, I think, is the massive gap of experiences between modern generations and 'us'. As an example, I work with a guy in his late-fifties, my stepdad is late-fifties, my dad is older than that. And I used to work with a fella in his late-sixties now, at least. Yet we all have the same memories of filling Panini stickers albums and swapping in the playground because you had two Teddy Sheringhams and needed a Klinsmann to complete Tottenham. Thirty, forty, fifty years yet we all instantly recognise the same things from football. There are cross-generational shared experiences so the game feels more personal and connected. Modern kids don't have that. It's FIFA online and Ultimate Team and social media. All stuff that is individual, distant. You can be a United supporter without ever having met another United supporter in real life. Top level football, almost exclusively, is totally separated from 'reality'. Moreso that any time in history. Or I might just be old before my time and pining for the good old days.

Again I think we played well enough to win. Should have won that match. Not good. If you don't score then you haven't played well enough.

In one sense we are no longer conceding as much but when we concede the culprit is Maguire. Ralf show some courage and drop this guy, play Jones or Bailly with Varane. Rashford on the left! Sancho on the right! I really think some basics need to be addressed. As much as I don't like him, Pogba offers a creativity that others don't, but it's good that him and bruno can play in the same team. Last but not least, I am damn fed up of these results, very very fed up, needs to change fast because at this moment in time we are a club that talks a good talk but when it comes to action we are simply pathetic. With you on that, so fed up with these results too, feels like we're missing that bit of luck, we need something to fall our way, get the rub of the green but absolutely one thing should happen and that is dropping Maguire, our luck might change form there!! I'm also pissed off with myself for being drawn back to watching the game even though i was out and about and could have avoided it. And then come Saturday i'm sure i'll be there again at 12.30 hoping against all hope that we'll put in some kind of performance and win a bloody game without any drama

Personally i would prefer the shitter pre 1990 version of utd than the shitter post 2013 version. *If we are going to be shit I'd go back to the 70s-80s shit version of utd tomorrow(it just seemed more enjoyable back then). The 1992 - 1999 was probably my favorite time as a utd fan(for obvious reasons).

I thought Maguire was a good defender at Leicester and could understand why Jose wanted him. He played well for England and was happy when we purchased him, albeit stunned by the price. I also thought he was good in his first season, again though, nowhere near justifying the price. He’s been catastrophically bad since the Euros and his form gets shown up more by playing alongside a proper CB in Varane. Shaw was similarly poor to Maguire after the Euros but has started to play much better lately. Maguire is getting worse. You need to be very careful when picking Captains as this shit can be the result. We all know it should have been Bruno. Even when he’s not performing to his ridiculous standards he still contributes. Maguire has become a total liability.

Yeah I think making Maguire captain was a mistake. I was hopeful that having someone more experienced alongside him in Varane would result in an improvement in much the same way as he was better at Leicester for playing alongside Evans. But he has lost all humility and has a massive ego and the unjustified praise he gets for his England performances and his status as captain probably have a lot to do with that. I think it would make a massive difference to strip him of the captaincy and drop him when he has a howler. But I cannot see Ralf doing that.
