It’s like they’re just expecting things will happen because of the badge but not actually putting in the work. Also saw bruno yelling like mad at the bench when Scott skied a lay off opportunity. Camera then turned to Scott and he looked like a man that knows he doesn’t belong. Didn’t make eye contact with a single team mate. |

Another troubling sign of a team in turmoil, just like Jesse last season, today VDB and Martial played well and helped their loan teams score and win. United have a bunch of players who have won nothing but have no hunger. Lazy tracking back. Can’t do offside trap. Canter free NF or score on set pieces. Leak to press. Basically just take a paycheck and that’s it.,

While the cartoon is borderline funny, it has quite some truth to it. The 3 years spent under a sub par manager who knew close to sweet fuckall when it came to tactics and strategy has done some real damage. Players used to cushy jobs with no real demand for excellence are rebelling which shines the spotlight again on the manager, which tbf Ralf is also looking lost for ideas. Only one way I know to get rid of gangrene when it's gone this deep... |
