McTom must want to play Leeds every week. That’s three barnstormers he’s had against them.

you know what your getting with McTom. he's limited with the ball, but you need players like him in the team. especially when going to away grounds, or when your going to have a physical game. he will never take a backwards step and he will fly into every challenge. i really like him as player. of course we need players with high quality as well but hes the one to set the tone for the rest of team when it comes to putting in a tackle

This passion merchant shit is bollocks and why we have players like him starting when he's a squad player at best

Pepe. keane. viera. i could go on. you need players that are going to get stuck back into them. otherwise you will get bullied like arsenal. cant have a full team of nice players. even peak Barce had a couple of cunts

Glazers have done a proper number on you.

Our centre backs were both good today. Maguire has been utter wank all season so happy to praise him when he does well. Lindelof was better though. That run he made for the 2nd was brilliant. AWB better as well. Maybe the Dalot competition will do him good in the long run. Lingard was poor, McTominay not much better, Ronaldo should have scored and was pretty anonymous, Shaw not great. Asleep on the equaliser. Other than that, not bad all round.

Honestly feels like I watched a different game. Thought McTom played well. Was the lad who got stuck in and set the tone in the conditions. Probably lucky to stay on the pitch in the end.
And he smashed a Leeds scummer to draw blood. Man of the match shit, right there.

Its probably a good idea to have a few Mctommers type players in your squad to get stuck in the the clogger type teams that just want to kick lumps out of us but we need far better starters to become a top side where better players just bypass him when we are defending and nullify him when we are attacking. squad player at best.

I mean, yeah. I’ve said the exact same on here long before today. But when he has a good game, I feel it prudent to point it out, same with any player. Think he offers more than Fred, if you’re only getting rid of one. Ideally, we have better players, but McTom, on an awful Sunday afternoon in front of a hostile crowd stood up and was counted, today. He’ll likely have a stinker on Wednesday against a superior side than Leeds and then play well Saturday vs Watford. Unfortunately, it is what is and we are where we are at the moment.

Glazers have done a proper number on you. Totally missing the point. I’ll use other examples. Milner, Henderson, Barry, fletcher. Someone to get stuck into players when you need to. Of course we need players with better quality it’s no secret. But players like mctomminay are useful over a season. You can’t have a team full of nice footballers and he will give absolute maximum commitment every game. Unlike some players we have. Got to give credit where it’s due

Good win.
Really please to se Elanga continuing to get games and a couple of goals. The kid is a talent, far too early to tell if he'll make it as a regular and develop into a genuine top drawer player, but I do think he has a chance if nurtured right, coached and given time to grow.
Full backs still a liability, 2 new FB's along with a new midfield, a new centre back and a couple of strikers needed still (seeing as I don't think Martial, Cavani, Ronaldo or Greenwood will be here next season), so not much to do really.
