Part of the problem with this lot now is their mentality is shot to pieces, they are constantly being told they're shit, fans, pundits, media, they're getting it from all directions and when that happens it can be difficult to change your mind set, and they clearly don't have it in them to say you know what, i'm going to prove you all wrong.
Whoever comes in as manager has got a hell of a job on their hands to change the mentality within the club.

Rangnick has had his feet and hands tied together, thrown in the sea and told to swim ashore. he lost VDB, Martial & Greenwood in one window. Other players knowingly wanting to leave; pogba & lingard, on top of 2 CF's with a combined age of 70. the club brought in no signings to help him out. we struggled with a full squad nevermind a depleted squad. i just wish he would start calling players out. i used to want club problems kept in house and dealt with but its about time they're held to account from the fans. call the bluffers out. bin the shite. play the reserves until the end of the season at least they will give a shit Rangnick said he was happy with the squad, even after the Greenwood shit, and didn't once push for signings. Defends Maguire at every turn. Doesn't have the balls to just strip the captaincy. He's as complicit as the rest of them. |

I didn't realise Mct was 25, i always cut him some slack as i thought he was 22 but to be 25 and still this inconsistent, that's just poor. He needs to be played B2B or benched. Fred, lovely guy but should nowhere near starting. Pogba when on song is poetry in motion but if he is leaving really the guy should not be starting, it shows poor forward thinking on our part really. Rashford is so out of form that midfielders are being played as strikers ahead of him. Cavani just trains Maguire is a complete mess, total shame. Call Leicester and send him back with some cash to get Ndidi. AWB regression beyond regression, if we can get £15 million for him, take it and run! |

When we didn't sign a CM in January, I knew he was done and said it at the time. No use putting him upstairs for this supposed rebuilding alongside a new manager, when he couldn't even get the board to spend 5-6m on an absolute gaping hole in the squad, and effectively allowed us to get weaker in the process by loaning out players we could've used, yesterday for example. Like the players, he's here for his money. I don't think he came solely for that, and he thought he could make a difference, but...our board. |
