Ridiculous from Ralf to pick Pogba in the first place. And he fucking brings on another clown who is also leaving. Dreadful nonsense. Don’t get me wrong, he’s managing a squad of absolute wasters, but he has been spectacularly bad during his spell in charge. He’s just come across as a little fucking doormat. I think he's a good Director of Football. You know someone at work, who's a good manager but would be bad at the coalface? Has a good sense of the wider vision, is good at tweaking someone else's work, but if you chucked them back in your job they'd be lost? That feels like him. He'd be good at sensing the weaknesses of a manager (Ten Hag hopefully) and balancing them out, but give him the full job himself - with all the shit that comes with this job, which to be clear I doubt Klopp or Guardiola could sort in this time - and he'll be a bit lost. He will, hopefully, be an asset to us, but not as a manager. |

This is painful. This Liverpool side are very good, some solid players and some excellent ones with a truly excellent manager - possibly the best manager the league has seen bar Fergie. But this United team should have so much more about them, they're so weak. Our combined score vs. this lot is 7-0 and it'll get worse. Even the Spice Boys and the teams after them put up some fucking fight, this is the most mismatched United-Liverpool has been in my life, even if 99 and 08 were better than their side.

I'm really abit old to get emotional about football anymore but I'm just fuming with this performance. Show some fucking pride and try to play. If we considered giving Pogba 500k/week then I'm just going to stop watching the game because it makes no fucking sense anymore.

Neville is right, Everton & Manchester United are the two easiest games in the league. Liverpool are going to win every game, just have to (sickeningly) hope City do too.
Think, assuming the Champions League is a City-Scouse final, that my sickening preference is City win the league and Liverpool win the CL. That maintains no one winning both PL & CL apart from Fergie.

I’m only showing a vague interest out of some sort of historical obligation. I could probably say the same about football in general though. |
