Fucking hell. Here we go again.
So, after our worst season in literally decades, there is a high chance that our starting 11 could be the exact same as what we finished with. Shaw could still be at left back and Eriksen and Martinez have hardly played in pre-season.
What's even more scary is our starting 11 could be the same as 2 seasons ago!
Should be excited at the prospect of a new season. We simply aren't ready. Fuck it. 2-1 win, since we still can't keep a clean sheet.

It's just shit, pure and simple, to be going in to this first game still feeling as deflated as last season!!
Eriksen has to start, even if he only manages an hour he'll be worth it.
I also thought that Erik was an advocate of 4-3-3 and yet we've still been playing that fuckin 4-2-3-1, i guess that's why he so desperately wants FDJ to be able to play it.
I'll go with 2-1 as well, not with any rational thinking but just maybe we'll get an extra 10-20% effort for the first game being at home 🙈

Got offered tickets, but I'm off to Wales to see the mrs for a long weekend. Spending a weekend in the middle of nowhere in a tiny village, where fights break out over who's more Welsh is more appealing. No doubt, I'll end up watching though. I just can't quit us.

I’ll feel sorry for Ten Hag because this should be a big moment for him, but given the past few weeks I hope the atmosphere is beyond toxic. The most important transfer window in decades has been like every other transfer window since Fergie retired- appalling. Pretty much every other fan base in world football starts the season off with hope (most of it false) but we have none of that, due to the fools running the club. I’ve tried to give them the benefit of the doubt with a fresh start etc but it’s as bad if not worse than ever.
1-1 with Arnold and Murtough getting fucking pelters for 90 minutes, the useless twats.
