I feel sorry for Ten Hag. When he’s tried to big up the squad - that’s naievity more than stupidity imo. He’s been focused on Ajax and just can’t believe a big club - like Ajax - would fall so far and then not back him to fix it. I didn’t fully believe it and I’ve watched nearly every game, I can’t blame him for going in and being positive. Get why some here do, but I understand why he tried. Not working though. The next game could be a new low, even though we’ve had tons of those already the past few years. Zero sympathy. I told you this is what would happen. He's reaping what he has sown. He doesn't have the players, this lot are damaged goods. Ten Hag isn't a klopp, he's simply not that kind of manager. |

I must admit that I was (possibly) naive ,and misjudged ETH whenever I saw him interviewed after getting the job.
Maybe the “steeliness,resolve,1000 yard stare etc” was just pure Rabbit-in-the-headlights, paralysing fear.
Well, he knows it ain’t going to get better any time soon.
