I think he’s naturally a more reserved character, so probably isn’t as prone to outward displays of emotion etc. Which is fine, the likes of Roy Keane probably wouldn’t have been giving it massive for 15mins either. However that plays into his inability to lead and inspire this group of players. He can’t inspire them with performances as he’s not good enough and he can’t motivate them with his personality as he doesn’t have an outgoing one/one at all. Nobody would give a fuck if an isolated 5sec clip of De Gea emerged where he wasn’t screaming “VAMOS” at the end of a game. Just nobody likes Maguire so it’s being used as a stick to wallop the big clumsy fucker with. Also because of Maguire being shite CB , an undeserving captain , his family members disrespecting club legends on twitter , his antics like the cupped ear celebration after scoring against Albania , throwing captain's armband... Yeah I also don’t like Maguire, for some of those reasons, but not because he wasn’t giving it massive portions in the background of a clip on Twitter. |
