With these forwards were 6 points off 2nd place. 4 points off 3rd with a game in hand. Add a striker in Jan there's no reason top 4 can't be achieved. but with 0 goal difference. we need to upgrade on both rashford and martial before the start of next season(one of them in January) I get that and absolutely we need to improve up front and definitely the goal difference but given how we've fared so far and that we're only 6 behind 2nd I'm just say its not all doom and gloom and written off. |

I'll be honest I think we played decently enough just bloody hell cant score.
I thought here we go when we got that early one but then back to the same old shit, missing absolute sitters!
Erik should have made it easily 2 late on in the first. It's a carbon copy of the goal we conceded last week against Villa.
That has been the only difference this season, no matter who plays, we cant score even if our life depended on it. Always some over elaborate crap in front of goal.

It is positive we were creating chances even if we weren't finishing them. But we didn't really control the game or dominate possession the way Erik wants us to. We played into their hands making it an open game that could have easily ended up as a draw. The Scotty sub weakened us and we should have brought Garnacho on sooner because it was clear Martial was far too rusty

To be fair to ETH bringing McT in the last few times has been a positive sub, he goes straight up top not the usual McFred position and he has been scoring.
But we need to have the ability to bring on a much better player!
Let's hope this Ronaldo saga bring about some positives in a bleak future that is Manchester United. It's depressing supporting this club but we still do it  |
