ah i get it... ill give it a go ! How long have you been a red? Im relatively young (20) but have been a red since the minute i could breathe air. My dad wasnt actually a massive football fan, he supporter the local team where we were broguht up (Ashton United) but in the late 80's i went along with my uncle aged only 3/4 ! Ive held a season ticket since '94, which was in the South for 5 years until finally my application for the stretford end was accpeted. you can now find me in block w3106, row 32, seat 14 on match days As far as away days are concerned, i get to all games between birmingham and newcastle, however due to work commitments long treks down to portsmouth etc are a rareity (sp?) in europe, i managed to get to the villarreal game and benfica game away from home, i didnt go to gay Paris for Lille because arrogantly i thought it was a banker and was saving up for a Last 16 ticket !! Who's your favourite player in the current squad? Heinze and Neville, for there sheer commitment, Every challenge they make you can see how much they want to win for this club. I also like the other local lads, Wes and Bardsley, who is easily going to be Nevilles replacement in a few seasons time. Im gutted about RVN, i loved the man, but it looks a cert that hes leaving. Hopefully to play abroad, maybe back at PSV- ideally. Who's your favourite past player? Too many, watching Cantona live at old trafford was amazing, also Schmeichel and Bruce- them two goals vs. sheffield wednesday stick to mind the second someone asks me fave. past players. a player i wish i had the chance to see live was the legend that is/ was George Best. RIP legend. One thing you wish you could tell Fergie? That we should stop concerning ourselves with fancy french wingers, a la Ribery, and concentrate on the midfield. I never like to slag fergie off, but his selections over the past 3 seasons (team selections) have been baffling. Still an absolute legend, thank you for your time, reading me rant on !! MU4L |
