Good win against a new manager bounce side.

Does anyone genuinely know the reasoning behind why handball in the box is one rule for defenders and another for attackers? Only if it goes in. If that had hit Rashfords arm like it did but Bruno tapped it in, it would have counted. It’s nothing but lunacy. Happened during our FA cup exit last year. Bonkers.

Goal difference up to +4! We've missed these dizzy heights.

Onwards and upwards. Albeit possibly for one day we're in the top 4. +4 GD and 2 clean sheets in a row.
I'm hoping this will push the need for a striker even more next month although im not getting my hopes up with these cunts in charge. A natural striker with some of the chances we had is getting a hat trick today.

Scholes just said six/twelve months ago Rashford could have been considered expendable but now he is in crucial form for the team and needs to find consistency.
I think that's where many people are coming from on Rashford perfectly summed up really.

Impact sub might just be the perfect role for Rashford going forward.

Good hard fought win.
Over the last 5+ years that’s the type of game we draw or lose.

Shaw has done well at CB these couple of games. Fair play to him.
The manager said he offered to play there for the Burnley game too, but he went with Casemiro instead. Nice to see Shaw stepping up and taking responsibility though.

I knew this would be a scrappy result. Brilliant finish by Rashford and loved the way he played thru the contact to score. Also great to see Shaw step in as a LCB and do the job better than Maguire. Looks like that makes slabhead our 5th choice CB!

Need a finisher, will say it again not getting one is as bad as not getting Rangnick the DM we need same time last season. Manager is clearly making the most of what he has but the board must play their part

Impact sub might just be the perfect role for Rashford going forward. With Martial as our main starting striker? What a treat that is. He's the only forward player we have that's actually performing beyond an acceptable level.
