Is Erik forgetting this competition is our best chance of silverware? I know it is only Charlton but this many rotations rarely ends well and we can all remember what a meal we made of the ties against that Cypriot club in the Europa.
Very disrespectful to Charlton. It is the Quarter Finals and we are fielding a very weak team.

It is the Quarter Finals and we are fielding a very weak team. The game against Nicosia had nothing to do with the changes. We had 34 attempts at goal in that game. We also don't have a recognised striker in the first team right now in general. The only one we had shall rename nameless but went to South Africa. Considering we're playing City, Palace and Arsenal in the space of a week I'd say its not far off as expected. It's still more than good enough to beat Charlton. Plus if necessary it isn't too bad a bench to choose from either. |
