You can. He's a goalkeeper. It's literally his job to stop the ball going in. That is his job yes but he cant save them all, the ball didn't go in because of a goalkeeping error it was just a good free kick. He did his job several times last night leading up to that point. As I said people are far too critical of him. I disagree, his position wasn't great,he left himself too much ground to make up to his left & we've seen that before from free kicks. |

Actually it's weird that a pen is usually given if handball if reviewed by VAR but how was last night not? It's all a joke, I thought it was supposed to help things the ref missed. Didnt understand it at all

VAR was supposed to remove controversy from the game but its not panned out that way. It's just given referees an excuse not to improve. We got the decision at the weekend against city, another referee might have interpreted that as interference. Anytime a person's interpretation is involved then inconsistency follows. |
