This is so true. He's a little lad and looks like he should have tons of pace but he looks so slow. Is it something to do with the cold weather or something? Clutching at straws.

Mistakes were made, I'm sure they'll be addressed and learnt from. Unfortunately as frustrating as it is, it happens. Bit calmer today after that so looking at it a bit differently. One thing that needs to be done away with straight away is playing out from the back, been saying this for months now. It's horrendous and it never works, also as much as I like De Gea and try to defend him as best I can but hes to blame aswell. He's not great with the ball at his feet so players need to stop putting him in that postion where hes under unnecessary pressure. I'd rather him kick the ball and lose it in their half than around our own box. Bin it. Anyway Cup semi final to look forward to Wednesday now so on we go. I wouldn't be over bothered if DDG's contract is not renewed, assuming the new owners invest properly.

Clutching at straws. to be fair in this instance he's focusing on a still image. Antony lost his footing while he was running which slowed him down. I have noticed when he does run I've noticed a few times now that he just stops and slows everything down.

He has improved on other areas under Ten Hag it's a question of whether he can improve enough. Perfect example late on he was unchallenged and could have caught it but decided to double pinch it instead. Decision making is questionable.

Call me mad but it's almost as if he thinks he is still playing in the Dutch league. My concern is that I have seen no improvement from the moment he arrived until now. I just need something to say to myself 'He is learning, slowly maybe but he is learning nevertheless'. I really hope he is not equating the goals scored as a measure of success

I’m mostly on the ETH train I really think he can push us on with new owners and rebuild but I’m really struggling with the Antony signing especially given the fee, it’s fucking bewildering.

Heavily reduced wages and being the backup keeper moving forwards should be the conditions for him to renew. Get in a new top-class RB and then sell AWB to Palace or Wolves. Playing out from the back may actually be possible then without frequently fucking it up. Oh and also, just fucking flog McTominay to Newcastle. He is literally garbage.

Had we lost points at Palalce with Casemiro rested he'd be slaughtered. As it turned out, it's a ref decision that prevented us a legit second and the chance to take Casemiro off with a two goal cushion, and perhaps a result on Sunday. fine margins. Weghorst is shite. ETH knows that. That's exactly what he meant when he said that this window's recruits need to fit the club financially. A much bigger issue is that Antony is shite. That's an 80 million piece of turd on a long term contract, and this one's on ETH. I hope he can admit that ,and not start him every game. Poor Marcus Rashford is a wizard for managing anything with those two completing our front three.
I don't think so. We'd still be talking about the lack of options, forcing ten Hag to make the pragmatic choice to rest Casemiro. But we'd be more than happy to give him a pass. I know I would. Woken up annoyed today because I know we could have beaten them. Weghorst should be getting hooked at 2-2 and Garnacho should come on to tear into them. Ben White was already on a yellow and I am convinced he's either stepping off Garnacho or fouling him for a second yellow. The boy is too fucking good. ten Hag shat his pants for this game. I never want to see that donkey set foot on the pitch again I don't care if we play 10v11. It is an embarrassment to the club and I would have preferred that we signed nobody than him. Dropping points at Palace in hope of getting more in a much tougher game would not necessarily be a gamble worth taking.
I was screaming myself for Garnacho, for any of WW or Antony... As for WW, we did play 10v11 before his arrival anyway. Martial offers nothing. At least our new January CF signing helps defending set pieces.

No. Henderson will be sold and then a new first-choice keeper will be bought. The goalkeeper postion is by far one of the least that needs addressing. Henderson can still leave but we don't need to look at a new keeper for at least another season or two. Far more important postions that need covering first.

It wasn't just his pace. The touch was bloody awful at the end and you knew as soon as we broke, he didn't know what to do. The left foot shot on the cut inside is magic and dangerous, but that's it, the rest is really poor !

Scott McTominay made 21 out of 28 passes in 93 minutes. That's a terrifying drop off. He's 26. 27 at the end of the year and we still have no idea of what his abilities are. How is he still here? He should be at Nottingham Forest and even that's a push. Notts County would be more accurate.
We need another midfielder in the summer who can push Casemiro. Without good competition, you could see a drop in Casemiro. Good job he's clearly a fantastic professional. Striker is the number one concern, but another midfielder really shouldn't be that far behind in the pecking order.
