I'm glad there's 2 legs in this. Squad depth, quality in that depth aswell will play a key part in this.

Barca are in a fantastic run in La liga. Looks like their Xavi gamble worked , unlike our pathetic attempt with Ole at the wheel. Not fair.

I don't expect us to get the ball at all in this game. They'll out pass us probably by 700 passes.
We can absolutely murder them on the counter though. Luckily we have the most lethal striker in world football at the moment.
Bruno will have to be levels above what he currently is. Cannot stupidly lose the ball the way he normally does. That prick Frenkie has been playing absolutely lights out for them over the past few games and Gavi/Pedri are different class too.

I’m excited. They are on a great run but they were playing well in Spain when they got knocked out of the CL. There’s also the case to be made that La Liga is probably as weak as it’s been in some time right now. So their run whilst impressive, may be a little false.
Cas will be champing at the bit to play them and Rashford is a danger to any team on the planet right now.

A draw would be great then beat them back home....tough games.

They've only won by one goal in each of their last five or so games, so they're not prolific at the moment, only downside is, we don't much like keeping a clean sheet very often.

Shame we have so many out as this would have been a good measure of where we are. Hopefully we keep the tie alive as we will have a few more options for the second leg.
Win this tie and we will win the whole thing.

I would absolutely play Shaw at CB alongside Varane. Maguire would be annihilated in the Nou Camp, worse than the shelling the back four got in the 4-0 back in 94.

Aslong as the result is respectable and we make sure we're still well in the tie come the 2nd leg. But agree with others players like Bruno need to step it up in this. Glad to have Cas back. Couldn't have happened at a better time.

I think we need to go small for this lot. Weghorst will genuinely look like the world's largest training cone. I know we say it a lot but I mean this in a very literal sense in this case.
