Fred did very well last night but I’m so glad it’ll be Casemiro and Sabitzer next week. Up against them without Gavi and hopefully Pedri with Licha coming back ?! Stop it. I’m giddy. Agreed. The Leeds game at OT Fred was terrible. In the 2 games since he's been brilliant. Everyone knows he can be frustrating player but also feel there is such an over reaction when it comes to him having a poor game. That being said Casemiro alongside Schwartsabitzer fills me with joy against this lot. i dont think its an over reaction. he has been atrocious for years at united, with the rare amazing performance here and there. a good player performs consistently. fred is either a train wreck or amazing. thats not what we need unfortunately, we need players who we know can perform on a consistent basis week in week out. i do think that there are more important issues to solve in the squad, but i am not against selling fred and replacing him with a better player. |

Mate there were people abusing the fuck out of him and asking for him to be injured after the Leeds game just so he wouldnt play again. If that's not an over reaction I don't know what is. Fred is far from shit, consistency is and always has been his biggest problem but do find it a lot better under Ten Hag. He's obviously down the list in terms of our midfielders but he's above others aswell so while I would look at upgrading for now he's a more than good enough back up option. Certainly wouldn't be one of those out the door first. |

Bit late to the party, but that was the most I've enjoyed a game of football, between any set of teams, in a very long time. Loved it, and pissed off we didn't win, but it was a brilliant watch

The question now becomes, do I go to the second leg with Wembley on Sunday? Or keep the powder dry for Budapest and confirmation of our new Qatari owners? Second leg could be iconic. The first true roar in the greatest comeback football has seen since 99. A giant on the rise again slaying one that is stumbling. You'll never forgive yourself if you miss us winning a classic, even if it is Europa.
