So far we've played 25 games in 88 days. If we want to win the Europa and the FA cup we'll be playing a further 19 games in 59 days. With the squad we have available and the lack of quality beyond our best XI I'd expect more games like this before the end of the season. Some of these players need to be playing very little football over this international break. Ideally we need some key players dropping out of the internationals. It's a good thing Varane has retired and DDG virtually been retired. Martial needs to really get himself in shape and fully ready to go after the break, hoping Eriksen is ready too. One key thing is that ETH will really have to rotate, the best 11 can't play all the games. What the players need to understand especially in the Europa is that if they can take all their chances in the first leg, they could hopefully kill the games off meaning they rest the return leg and allow the back up to play. First half's in games in the league crucial, we have to come out fast, incisive and full of goals really. I just hope thing's don't tale off as we could genuinely end the season with 3 trophies and of course single digit league gap from top spot. |

Eriksen's return next month will also help, and if we're hit with major injuries I'd even be tempted to bring back Álvaro Fernandez, Hannibal and/or Amad. Rotation will become so essential now, I'd be tempted to play slabhead and Lindelof in the easier league fixtures. Martial returning for any meaningful period can't be too much to ask - we need to rest Rashford. |

Not a hope against Juve in a semi. Edit- unless of course it’s something crazy in Turin like 4-0. But I don’t see that. |

I get why certain players have been playing as much but even if he rotates 1 or 2 players every week it'll keep them a bit more fresh. I get that he doesn't want to rush the youth players in but we're at a point now this season where I think he needs a bit more faith in them, especially Pellestri. This summer is going to be a vital window in terms of our direction. This squad badly needs quality in depth. So far we've done brilliantly with what we have. Just need that to keep going a bit longer. |
